Johnny Hachem or the climb of a gifted pianist

Johnny Hachem or the rise of a talented composer: Johnny Hachem is one of the most brilliant pianists in today’s time. He has performed at various international festivals, including ones held in Ukraine, Lebanon, Switzerland, England, Austria, Germany, France, Spain Poland, Romania, The Netherlands, South Korea, as well as the Arab countries, where he played his solo works. It wasn’t until later on when young Johnny discovered how much talent awaited him in the music industry. He is a music prodigy who started learning piano and composition at the Lebanese Higher Conservatory of Music. He earned his master’s degree there with distinction too! See even more details on Johnny Hachem.

I love that everything I do is to be original and unique and not only to follow the music market. At the same time I profit from the technology and the new softwares to the maximum. For example, a few years ago, I composed the orchestral music for a documentary film using only the VST instruments. I believe that I must gain from anything that can make the composition process smoother and faster but it must always meet uniqueness and genuine originality.

As for learning piano and music composition, Johnny got his training from the Lebanese higher Conservatory of Music and earned a master’s degree with distinction. Since then, there has been no looking back for him. In fact, Johnny has been composing for more than 20 years and has produced music for orchestras and chamber music. Moreover, many symphony orchestras have been playing his compositions on the stages in various countries across the world.

Oftentimes musicals and mainstream songs “borrow” from classical pieces, even without mentioning the actual origins. The reasoning is that “every note has already been used”, so, why not. Has it ever happened to you that your compositions welcomed you in someone other’s gown? Johnny Hachem: I think no, at least not until now, haha. Or maybe it’s happened and I’m just unaware of it? It can be! Why do you think modern compositions lack of the beautiful and elegant complexity of notes, chords; the ornaments such as turns, mordents, trills, acciaccaturas, appoggiaturas; the complete lack of meaningful structures and so on? And this goes both for each and every genre. Can it be because of the untrained ears will not buy into something they feel alien and untranslatable, “too much” or because majority of the songs are written by a handful of craftsmen in the background and the “indies” in any genres are just, well, simply not enough good?

Johnny Hachem composer and pianist, was born in Beirut. He is a live performer, as well as a film composer. He holds two international awards including the 2009 international award for the Music Composition from the The International Composition Conference (Cergy-pontoise, France). The music industry in the US is huge. With a lot of mainstream and underground musicians trying to make it big in the industry, it is only a handful of extremely talented individuals who shine bright in the crowd.

It is good to meet different, unique, creative artists, musicians. Johnny Hachem is one of them. The award-winning composer, pianist shares his thoughts and experiences on music creation in the 21st century, the contemporary and old time classical music and how he combines the modern technology with his compositions. Be brave and read on! And while you are at it, listen to Johnny Hachem‘s Jacob & Rachel, The Love Story, great treat for the ears!

Kentucky’s Logan J. Blackman or the ascent of a music conducting expert

The growth of a music conducting professional : Paducah’s Logan Blackman: At only 17 years old, Blackman founded and conducted the Blackman Wind Symphony—a semi-professional wind ensemble based in Paducah, Kentucky. In addition to conducting, Blackman is currently a freelance bassoonist, organist, pianist, and composer. He obtained his bachelor’s in bassoon performance and master’s in conducting from the University of Kentucky in 2018. Needless to say, Logan Blackman is one exceptionally talented individual. We recently sat down with Blackman to talk about his craft, his love of music, and what inspires him. See even more information at Logan J. Blackman.

UK Symphony Orchestra is part of the UK School of Music at the UK College of Fine Arts. The school has garnered a national reputation for high-caliber education in opera, choral and instrumental music performance, as well as music education, composition, and theory and music history. To hear Robinson, Blackman and Maestro Nardolillo talk about the upcoming concert, visit WUKY’s “UK Perspectives” interview with them here: http://wuky.org/post/uk-symphony-orchestra-brings-tragedy-and-triumph-stage#stream/0.

The remaining three works prior to intermission played strongly to Bernstein’s musings on philosophical and religious ideas and texts, with John Nardolillo (UKSO) conducting the Serenade and Three Meditations from Mass, and Jefferson Johnson conducting Cinchester Psalms, sung by four choruses: the UK Choristers (Elizabeth Wilson), the UK Women’s Choir (Lori Hetzel), the UK Chorale and the UK Men’s Chorus (Jefferson Johnson). Bernstein’s philosophical Serenade, based on Plato’s Symposium, is a lively musical exchange on the subject of love. The conversation began with an eruption of discord and dissonance as all the instruments tried to speak at once. But then guest violinist Daniel Mason (Concertmaster of the Lexington Philharmonic) inserted himself into the squabble and engaged in a dueling duet with the principal cellist as both expressed their views with equal gravity.

With a passion for composing, Blackman finds writing his own work very rewarding. “After I put down the last note, I love looking back at the work as a whole and admiring what I have created. To me that is one of the greatest feelings in the world!” Blackman, who chose UK for his studies based on Lexington and the school’s orchestra and faculty, is excited for the opportunity to share his music with a Bluegrass audience at the next UK Symphony Orchestra concert. “This is the greatest honor of my life so far. It is an honor to premiere a work with such a distinguished ensemble, but it is an even greater honor to bring it to life with my friends and colleagues. I am very grateful for this amazing opportunity.” Find extra information on Logan Blackman.

When Blackman got to the University of Kentucky, he started working on adapting “Prayer” into an orchestral work, at first simply transcribing it. But then, he started to do more, and the work attracted attention. “He joined the orchestra as an undergraduate bassoonist, and it soon became clear that his interests were wider than just playing the bassoon,” UK Symphony Orchestra director John Nardolillo says. “I knew he composed, and he asked me if I would look at the score to this piece he’d been working on. Then he asked if he could take some conducting lessons. So he was working on conducting and I looked at the score, and the score is interesting, and his level of commitment and involvement and interest in conducting, composition and performing is quite high. The story of the piece is compelling, and it seemed like we were in a position to help him with those things.

Wow. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I can’t even imagine what that has been like for you. You are a strong man. Speaking aside from your personal perspective, where do you find your inspiration? Logan J. Blackman : I take a lot of inspiration from John Williams, Beethoven, Brahms, Mahler, and Mozart. What are you currently working on? Logan J. Blackman : Compositionally, I only have a new set of bassoon duets I am working on. However I intend to be writing more very soon. Most of my musical efforts today have been working towards doing some recording of piano works.

John Nardolillo has appeared with more than 30 of the country’s leading orchestras, including the Boston Pops, the National Symphony, and principal orchestras of Seattle, San Francisco, Detroit, Atlanta, Dallas, Milwaukee, Utah, Columbus, Indianapolis, Oregon, Fort Worth, Buffalo, Alabama, Louisville, Missouri, North Carolina, Toledo, Vermont, Columbus, Omaha and Hawaii. He also recently conducted concerts at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.; the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia; and Carnegie Hall in New York. Nardolillo made his professional conducting debut in 1994 at the Sully Festival in France, and has since made conducting appearances in the United States, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and China. He has led major American orchestras in subscription series concerts, summer and pops concerts, education concerts and tours, and for television and radio broadcasts. In 2004 Nardolillo joined the faculty at the UK School of Music, where he is currently serving as the director of orchestras.

Maestro John Nardolillo presented a remarkable program showcasing some of Bernstein’s greatest achievements, sharing the stage with five conductors, four choruses, eight soloists, and the UK Jazz Ensemble. Even the audience got in on some of the action. As Nardolillo opened the evening’s tribute with the Overture from Candide, it became clear to all present that “tonight, tonight, won’t be just any night.” The Candide Overture is the shortest sonata form (ABA) I have ever heard. It commenced (A) with a tremendous burst of frenetic energy initiated by the brass and percussion, and rapidly spread into the strings and woodwinds as if it had gone viral. Then this structured chaos transitioned into a hymn-like movement (B) introduced by the strings and passed on to the other instruments before returning to the more energetic dance-like rhythms established by the horns and timpani at the outset (A). The piece was a single movement less than five minutes long but it packed a wallop, ending with a whimsical whimper and a bang. UKSO’s delivery helped assure its immortality.

The critically acclaimed University of Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro John Nardolillo, will perform next with concerto competition winner, Michael Robinson, a junior at UK School of Music. The concert will include music by celebrated composers Carl Nielson and Gustav Mahler, as well as a premiere of work by UK junior Logan Blackman. The concert will begin 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at the Singletary Center for the Arts. See additional info at Logan J. Blackman.

It has remained a favorite song for most Christians who are staunchly holding to their faith. The song encourages the audience never to go back to their dark days. It also reminds the audiences of joy, peace, and grace after changing their ways and accepting Jesus.

This triple-CD compilation helped spark a wider interest in artists who never achieved any great fame on the circuit. Gathering a comprehensive selection of often very elemental American gospel recordings, this is a stunning companion piece to A Stranger I May Be (see below). Recorded by Alan Lomax and Shirley Collins during their 1959 US field recording trip, this is deep roots gospel. Lomax, a folk purist, decried how gospel was developing, and so recorded choirs in rural communities in an attempt to preserve the music. The performances captured here are stunning – gospel as African-American praise music, full of great yearning. Reissued on CD by Man in the Moon in 2018.

Jesus’s teaching regularly challenged this idea and never as overtly as in the parable of the workers. For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard. He agreed to pay them a denarius for the day and sent them into his vineyard. About nine in the morning he went out and saw others standing in the marketplace doing nothing. He told them, “You also go and work in my vineyard, and I will pay you whatever is right.” So they went. He went out again about noon and about three in the afternoon and did the same thing. About five in the afternoon he went out and found still others standing around. He asked them, “Why have you been standing here all day long doing nothing?”

Waking up for Mass in the morning can certainly be difficult. If that’s the main problem, there are evening Masses, but you probably already knew that. And if that’s not the only issue, surely you might come up with another excuse to skip. Your intentions are good, but you don’t follow through. This prevalent occurrence is a reality in today’s world. But, ladies and gentlemen, we can’t make excuses for God. Catholics need to go to church, people. And don’t be a Chreaster, either. Chreasters are folks who show up to church only about twice a year … on Christmas and Easter. Don’t be one of those. So, rise and shine. It really is the best way to start your Sunday.

Here I am To Worship – Hillsong Worship This is one of Hillsong’s favorite gospel songs of all time. It was released in 2003 and has remained among the top gospel music in the industry. The song’s primary theme is worshiping the Lord. The lyrics vividly describe why the Lord deserves all the glory. Shackles (Praise You) – Mary Mary: Since it was released in 2000, this song has not lost its popularity. It was composed by Erica Campbell and Trecina Atkins-Campbell, also known as Mary Mary. The song talks about praising the Lord for his deeds. Its popularity may have been impacted by the combination of different genres in this song. The chorus has R&B sounds while the rest of the song uses rhythmical Hip-hop sounds. Read more information at gospeljingle.com.

PartyNextDoor and Crave Moore joint effort upcoming?

PartyNextDoor and Crave Moore collaboration looming? Crave Moore was spotted with PartyNextDoor so more whispers regarding a collaboration between the two began to surface, with Atlantic being the probable record label to be involved.

Crave Moore on hip hop artist fashion trends in 2022: Every fashion trend, just like every music genre, brings its recognizable accessories. The hip-hop world, for the past few years, and moving even stronger in 2022, has been doing some fashionable fun – bringing pearls to the scenes. For hundreds of years, pearls have been exclusively considered the classic women’s accessory. But now, singers, rappers, and actors have been embracing pearl necklaces with many different outfits. From sleek fancy suits to everyday tees and cool athleisure. Be ready to see pearls more and more into the men’s world.

There are always complaints about rappers using backing tracks or not in live shows, and it’s certainly a fair thing to be bothered by. The thing is, there have been great shows where artists rhymed over a track with their vocals on it, just as there have been subpar ones without a backing track. It becomes a personal preference thing, and while rapping live with no backing track is more difficult, it shouldn’t be seen as an indictment on an artist’s talent when they don’t do it. At the end of the day, was the show great or did it stink? Backing tracks are just part of a show. The entire presentation and actual performance of the rapper are more vital.

Whenever there are protests, songs are often played as a form of protest. With the recent protests in America, music is being used again as a form of protest. The recent movement of Black Lives Matter and the opinions on it by public figures (which is mostly dominated by Rapper). The reason why Public Enemy is coming back into popularity (they dropped an incredible album recently) is because the sounds and genre signifiers of the 90s are becoming more relevant in hip-hop. There’s a good chance that Run The Jewels got into the stream with this release. Musically, hip-hop is becoming increasingly influenced by old school.

Hip-hop is huge and all encompassing both as a style of music and culturally. When a genre has a lot of artists and fans, that leads to more people being passionate about it. But with that passion comes with complaints and hang-ups, some of which can be unfounded at best and offensive at its worst. Everyone has thoughts on hip-hop and the direction it’s going in, and that’s fine, but certain issues are silly, and not worth the time put into them. As it comes to hip-hop, a lot of the thing rap fans hand-wring over have been there for a long time. In other cases, new things pop up that fans take issue with. Either way, it’s time to let them all go.

In January 2020, “Say So” was sent to radio to become the fourth single off of Hot Pink. The song was originally released alongside the album in November 2019, but gained popularity afterward on TikTok. She performed the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in February 2020. She released the music video directed by Hannah Lux Davis for the song the next day. The solo version of “Say So” peaked at number five on the Hot 100, becoming her first top-ten single, and was the most streamed song of 2020 by a female artist in the United States. In May 2020, following the release of a remix of “Say So” featuring Nicki Minaj, the single topped the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the first number-one single for both artists. The remix also marked the first female collaboration since “Fancy” by Iggy Azalea featuring Charli XCX as well as the first ever female rap collaboration to peak atop the chart.

The re-release of the album included three new songs, including “Mooo!” and “Juicy”. A remix of “Juicy” featuring Tyga and its accompanying music video were released in August 2019. Following the release of the remix, the song debuted at number 83 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking Doja Cat’s first entry on the chart, and ultimately peaked at number 41. The song would eventually be certified Platinum in the United States. It led to Amala debuting for the first time on the Billboard 200 album chart in August as well.

Soon after her birth, Doja and her mom moved to New York City, where they lived for five years. Her family later moved back to California in Oak Park, where her mother enrolled her in ballet, tap and jazz lessons from the age of five. Her aunt, a singer, gave her singing lessons to help her get into a performing arts school. Her family then moved near the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles when she was 11 years old, where they lived in an ashram in the mountains of Agoura Hills and practiced Hinduism for four years. During this time of her life Doja would wear head-covering scarves and sing bhajans at temple. She claims that she lacked interest in school from then on, instead taking a liking for dance. While at the ashram she had been dancing the style of Indian classical dance called Bharatanatyam. As she grew older and moved away from the ashram, she moved onto breakdancing classes and joined a professional poplocking troupe with whom she competed in dance battles throughout Los Angeles while still attending high school. She also frequently skipped school to participate in online chatrooms. She eventually dropped out of high school at 16 during her junior year.

Doja Cat has been noted for her musical versatility, including genre fluidity for crossover-ready pop songs and her ability to sing, rap and produce. When asked about her legacy, she revealed that in future she would like to be remembered for her versatility in not only music but also visual art and dance. Her second full-length studio album, Hot Pink, is built with her own beats as well as a series of videos written and conceived by herself. Doja called Hot Pink a firm restart for her career, and the most refined, chiseled representation of herself. Her escapist fantasy worldview is reflected in the music by its upbeat production style. The record was inspired by some drastic lifestyle changes. Discover more info on https://peeptown.com/.

Doja Cat has described life after dropping out of school as “messy”, claiming that she slept on the floor and spent “all night and day” browsing the internet, looking for beats and instrumentals from YouTube which she downloaded and used to create her own music. She taught herself to sing, rap and use GarageBand while at home without a job, frequently making music and uploading it to SoundCloud. She got her stage name from one of her cats as well as her favorite strain of marijuana, stating, “I was heavily addicted to weed and weed culture, so when I began rapping I thought of the word ‘doja’ and how it sounds like a girl’s name.

Additionally, due to the fact that her aunt Diana Ross has declined to provide the press with a comment regarding Michael Jackson since his death, Ms Jackson believes that crucial insights about the story are being concealed from the public. Mocienne Petit Jackson or the climb of Michael Jackson’s daughter, a writer? One night, he left early to go to Tower Records, which had been shut down just for him to spend $1,500 on CDs. Another afternoon, he ordered several $900 remote controlled motorcycles brought to the studio. Despite usually eating meals prepared by a personal chef, Jackson requested McDonald’s for lunch on one occasion. He’d never actually eaten there before, but someone told him it was good, so he ordered one of everything on the menu and took a small bite of each. (The fish sandwich particularly wowed him.) Then there was Madonna. During March and April of 1991, Jackson and Madonna went out to dinner at least three times, which led tabloids to immediately report that they were dating. During these conversations, Jackson reportedly asked her to duet on the unfinished version of what became, “In the Closet.”

At first, the court cases related to her own situation, later on they turned into a battle for her son. The one unacceptable situation followed yet another unacceptable situation. We also learn about the many traumatic events of the main character, her depressions and countless struggles to process the misery linked to her life and her strife to let it go. The writer clearly explains these struggles through vivid flashbacks. Mocienne follows the comings and goings of Michael Jackson from afar. These included his alleged child abuse, and the many court cases querying his person, his two failed marriages, his metamorphoses, the birth of his three children – and last but not least – his untimely death.

On the whole, Michael feels rather dull. Vocally, he’s on target the majority of the time, with the exception of the still manufactured-sounding, “Breaking News”, but musically it’s far from impressive. So many of the beats sound so derivative that it lacks any evolution, which is what Jackson was always about. Look at the transition between Off the Wall and Thriller, or better yet, Bad to Dangerous. He went from disco to ’80s synth, from hair metal aesthetics to New jack swing. What’s more, he always surrounded himself with the most top notch, key players in any industry. Do you think it was by chance that Jackson hired the likes of Macaulay Culkin or Michael Jordan for his videos? Remember, it was the early ’90s, those guys were just as much royalty as he was. The same went for Slash, or Eddie Van Halen, or Martin Scorcese, or Teddy Riley. That’s what’s missing on Michael.

I got to learn that the Dutch Court does not care about family life and Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights. I want to make a change regarding this because the Dutch Court is part of the European Court, who have proven to me that they do not care about people in any way. They only care about themselves. There is no justice in this world. The American tabloid TMZ, like many other foreign tabloids, has tried to catch me for an interview. At that moment I thought they would all label me as some crazy person. It might even cost me my Thuiszorg Ernestine BV company once they had the image material they had intended in their hands.

Bad (1987): And now, we get to the heavy hitters. Bad is one of the defining albums of my childhood – one of my earliest memories is “proving” to my parents that I knew every word of the title track by singing it at the dinner table. Equal parts rock, pop and soul, Bad may have suffered from the Thriller curse in the 80s – pundits recognized it was good, but not AS GOOD as one of the best albums ever made, always an unfair criticism – but the album’s cavalcade of hits, and its influence on pop and R&B at the time, cannot be denied. Bad may not have aged as well as some of MJ’s other top-shelf releases but that doesn’t make it any less groundbreaking. Forgotten Favorites: “Speed Demon,” “Just Good Friends,” “Another Part of Me”.

Part two of Mocienne Petit Jackson’s autobiographical trilogy begins with an extensive description of Mocienne’s abduction to the Netherlands. We then read how she fares in the adoptive family where she ends up together with her niece Delivrance. Along the way, Mocienne discovers that her father is Michael Jackson. When she is fifteen years old she leaves the adoptive family, lives in a boarding school for four years and then goes to live independently.

Where is Michael Jackson From? Michael Jackson is from Gary Indiana. According to the official autopsy report, Michael Jackson was 5’9”, or 69” tall when he died. This is considered to be the most accurate measure of his height, as he occasionally would wear shoes with a bit of a heel which would make him appear taller to fans. As a child, Michael Jackson had worn his hair in an afro, which also appeared to make him look taller. But in 1984, his hair and scalp caught fire during the filming of a Pepsi commercial, causing the celebrity to have permanent hair loss.
